We work hard to make the custom ordering process as simple as possible! Just follow these easy steps to get your order started:
Assemble your artwork:
Make a sketch, do a computer mockup, or find a picture of a design you have in mind. You can use crayons to come up with your cystom cycling design, or let our experienced artists design something original for your team! If you have your own designer, you can download copies of our art guidelines and templates right from our template page. Request logos from your sponsors in EPS vector format. Make a list of design instructions, color preferences, and logo placements.
Email your files and design specs to your artist - be sure to include your team name in the subject line, and provide contact info so that your artist can call or email your point person with any questions or issues.
Request a fit kit:
Blackbottoms Sample / Size Kit is available prior to order placement. Customer is responsible for the payment of freight to return said kits to Blackbottoms Cyclewear published address. If said kits (or any article included in the Kit) are not returned within designated period and a written extension has not been granted by Blackbottoms Cyclewear, Customer agrees to pay the published price for said kit or any article included in the Kit not returned in same condition as received. A credit card authorization is taken at order placement or prior to shipment of Kit in order to provide security for Kit return or payment if Kit is not returned in same condition as received within the Blackbottoms Cyclewear designated return period. Customer consents to Blackbottoms Cyclewear placement of a charge on said card for any items not returned in same condition as received within the prescribed time period.
At that time if the goods are damaged or not returned the Customer will be charged full retail value plus shipping costs.
Fill out an order form
Once you have determined your sizes, we will send our Order Form, we ask you to please and fill it out completely. As you fill in your quantities, your pricing on the order form will change based on the number of items that you order.
Be sure to fill out the Billing & Shipping information completely, as well as an event date, if applicable.
Final pricing will be confirmed by your Blackbottoms Cyclewear representative after receiving your final order form.
Send us your 3 key elements to start order production:
- Approved artwork from our art department
- Completed order form with quantities
- 50% deposit (payable by check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
That's it! We'll take over from there. Within 6-8 days of placing your order, you will receive final production cut art proofs via email. Please approve these cut art proofs as soon as possible of receiving to avoid any delays in delivery. We will contact you mid-way through the production process to let you know how your order is progressing and to arrange final payment. Once your order ships we will send you the tracking information. All inclusive pricing - Designed to take the burden out of determining your clothing pricing. All clothing prices include art set-ups and all colors. There are no hidden or additional charges. We charge a USD $100 art fee that goes towards the cost of the gear if you decide to have Blackbottoms Cyclewear make it. If you decide to go to another vendor then we will keep the $100 art fee. Shipping charge is USD $40. No credit card fee's, no extra color fees, and no packing fees.
Like Item Pricing
Blackbottoms Cyclewear's "Like Item Pricing" system allows you to combine like items within each group to meet the 15 piece minimum per category. Items can also be combined within each Like Item category to move up to the next quantity break.
Example: If you order 10 SS Custom Jerseys, 10 LS Custom Jerseys, and 10 Custom Vests that would be 30 as your quantity. The minimum is 15 with price breaks at 31, 49, 71, 101, 151, 201, and 300.
Plan in advance - Because our schedule fills so rapidly, we recommend that you hold a spot for your reorder at the time you place your original order. *Minimum requirement of only 15 units per like item on all exact re-orders.

- Order and a 50% deposit are due 8 weeks before your ship week.
- Order your sizing samples and have a sizing party.
- Your Blackbottoms Cyclewear Designer will contact you regarding your design, 4 weeks before your ship date, just to keep you updated.
- Full-size color art proofs will be sent for your final approval.
- Customer service will contact you during your week of shipment to verify your shipping information.
- Blackbottoms Cyclewear offers full art/design capabilities. Contact us for details.
- Customer agrees to pay shipping costs.
- Customer agrees to pay for design charges at the currently published Blackbottoms Cyclwear rates.
- New orders are subject to a processing fee.
- Reorders under a certain volume are subject to a processing fee.
- Customer agrees to pay for the entire order before shipment.
- Customer is responsible for approval of spelling and/or grammar.
- Customer is responsible for receiving permission for use of all logos and/or copyrighted material incorporated into the design.
- Customer is responsible for entering the correct products, quantities and sizes with account representative.
If you are local (meaning within 50 miles) we will deliver it. If you are located in the continential USA we ship UPS ground. ALL INTERNATIONAL orders are shipped USPS.
