Fabric:
Blackbottoms Cyclewear uses many types of fabric of your choosing. We can use Micro-Polyester, coconut fiber weaved into fabric, waterproof fabric, mesh fabric, compression, teflon, scotch lite, termofleece, and thermo roubaix. We use the highest quality fabrics that we can find are are always looking for new fabrics that offer the qualities that we are looking for.
Zipper:
We can use four different types of zippers, we have a 6", 20", ¾ hidden, and full hidden zipper. The choice is yours as to what you want for your cycling jersey zipper. We can work with you to help you decide which one is best.
Chamois:
We have four different chamois that we use. Our women's chamois is made in house and Blackbottoms gets many compliments from women telling us that it is the best chamois they have ever used. For men's chamois the standard is our men's in-house chamois, this is a great chamois. If you want to upgrade we offer two types if Italian chamois from Cytech (Worldwide leader in design and development). The Multi-D Anatomic Carbonium Men and the Multi-D Comp Carbonium Men are the two highest quality chamois that we have found in the world.
Shorts & Bib Shorts:
We have two different style of shorts, we offer an H-Panel and a U-Panel short. What matters is quality of the fabric. The higher quality fabric lasts longer and holds its form. On our shorts and bibs we offer 2 styles of leg grippers, compression and silicone. On the bib shorts we offer as standard a race radio pocket, you can use this to hold your race radio or your iPod, cell phone or whatever you can stuff in there. Best of all Fusion welded leg hem with silicone gripper is on every pair of shorts.
Jackets:
Windbreaker: This is made from a great wind blocking fabric that will not get cause overheating.
Winter: Whoa this jacket says it all, it is so warm you will not know what to do on those cold days. This jacket has a great shell and a supple feel to it. You will not regret getting this jacket.
Arm Warmers:
Amazing warm Lycra, or Thermo Roubaix on the winter warmers. The are made of fabric that is so soft you will forget you are wearing them.
